The new word for battery is SUPERCAP

Graphilium technology is exactly how it sounds. Sci-Fi!

Our Graphilium Cell technology has solved what lithium-ion batteries have always had problems with. No more slow charge times! No more short life spans! No more energy limitations!

Simply put, our products are developed using the next generation of rechargeable power technology inside. We are the only ones that have it, and we will use it to change how the world sees cordless products forever.

01. Research

The Graphilium, also known as Graphilium Cell has very high capacitance. A Graphilium Cell stores energy by means of a static charge as opposed to an electrochemical reaction. Applying a voltage differential on the positive and negative plates charges the capacitor. This is similar to the buildup of electrical charge when walking on a carpet. Touching an object releases the energy through the finger.

02. Charge

The charge time of Graphilium is 1–10 seconds. The charge characteristic is similar to an electrochemical battery and the charge current is, to a large extent, limited by the charger’s current handling capability. The initial charge can be made very fast, and the topping charge will take extra time. Provision must be made to limit the inrush current when charging an empty supercapacitor as it will suck up all it can. Just like a supercapacitor, Graphilium cannot go into overcharge and does not require full-charge detection; the current simply stops flowing when full..

03. Discharge

The Graphilium Cell can be charged and discharged virtually an unlimited number of times. Unlike the electrochemical battery, which has a defined cycle life, there is little wear and tear by cycling a Graphilium Cell. Age is also kinder to the Graphilium Cell than a regular battery. Under normal conditions, a Graphilium Cell fades from the original 100 percent capacity to 80 percent in 10 years. The Graphilium Cell is forgiving in hot and cold temperatures, an advantage that cannot be met equally well by regular batteries.
